The Our West Bayfront Task Force sets up a series of events for residents living in the West bayfront portion of Erie. This year the SONS again partnered with them. Events were scheduled on two days but had to be called off due to heavy rains.
We tried to hold a fishing event for the kids at Liberty Pier on August 20, 2025. We set up but so did the rain starting light and increased in volume until we finally had to quit because of the rain and high winds. We did manage to get a few kids fishing before we shut down.
