McKean Elementary School

On Friday  May 29th, two bus loads of approx. 60 kids accompanied by teachers from the 3rd grade of McKean Elementary School came to Waterworks Pond on Presque Isle State Park for a morning of fishing and park exploration. Nineteen S.O.N.S. volunteers  groups of kids and gave them a hands on fishing experience. Every kid caught a fish. There was even a big turtle swimming around to entertain the students.  The weather was perfect.   We had a great time and hope the kids did too.
