Girard High School Life Skills Class

On Friday April 15th twelve SONS of Lake Erie volunteers met 20 students and some faculty members from the Girard High School Life Schools program for a morning fishing experience at the pond located at Waterworks Park in Girard, PA. The morning was absolutely beautiful with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. The pond was previously stocked with brown trout and nearly all of the participants were able to catch one.

The SONS have partnered with with this program for over 10 years and we look forward to working wit the students every year.
